Very costly mistake

  The monthly rate may be a cent cheaper or possibly more expensive then your electric company but they make much much more then that back when they scam you for the next 2-3 billing cycles after you tell them you would like to end your contract on the date it is supposed to end. They basically just never cancel your contract, charge you double what your electric company charges per kwh then you have to have your electric company remove them from your bill.

  The sales rep that came to my door explained to me that he could lower my rate and I ASKED multiple times that it wasn't going to switch my current plan and he said no it would only lower the rate and wouldn't switch companies. I have this all on camera...disgusting to lie to people, really makes not want to ever go with the company ever even if the one I'm with is more expensive than Direct Energy.

SCAM COMPANY - LIARS and THIEVES

  My bill went up double with no notice (500 dollars) when I went to switch to another supplier, Inspire blocked it, and lied about it. They claim they have no record but the Electric company has a record, the new supplier has a record, and I have records, plus a phone call from Inspire asking why I was leaving. When I called to ask them why they were still my supplier, they lied several times on the call (the story changed), and I escalated and still have not gotten a call back. Reading these reviews, we need a class action lawsuit

No meter readings since March, 2025, always estimated bills

  My experience with JCP&L has been horrific. Finally got through to a representative via e-mail with respect to my constant estimated bills and received nothing but stupid excuses as to why I always get estimated bills. Just received my electricity use at a glance from you and according to that I have used less energy than similar homes. I want actual meter readings. There is a smart meter at my barn but none on the house. The shrubs have been cleared for easy access to the house meter. Im a single person who lives alone and cannot possibly be using the amount of electricity that these constant estimated bills indicate. In comparison to 2024 I am using less electricity now than then. What is the problem with you sending someone to actually read he meter? Isnt this their job? If I had been as unreliable at my job as you seem to be at yours I would have lost my job. Get with the program people.
