No meter readings since March, 2025, always estimated bills
“ My experience with JCP&L has been horrific. Finally got through to a representative via e-mail with respect to my constant estimated bills and received nothing but stupid excuses as to why I always get estimated bills. Just received my electricity use at a glance from you and according to that I have used less energy than similar homes. I want actual meter readings. There is a smart meter at my barn but none on the house. The shrubs have been cleared for easy access to the house meter. Im a single person who lives alone and cannot possibly be using the amount of electricity that these constant estimated bills indicate. In comparison to 2024 I am using less electricity now than then. What is the problem with you sending someone to actually read he meter? Isnt this their job? If I had been as unreliable at my job as you seem to be at yours I would have lost my job. Get with the program people. ”

WORST COMPANY EVER
“ This is by far the worst energy company Ive ever dealt with. We are a small family of three two adults and one child and Mystream has been charging us $400$600 a month for electricity. Thats completely unacceptable and outrageous. Their pricing is not transparent, the bills are confusing, and their customer service is unhelpful. I feel scammed and taken advantage of. Do yourself a favor and choose a different provider this company is greedy and does not care about its customers. ”

Don't fall for the scam
“
Got a door-to-door salesman selling me the world. I was dumb enough to believe him and treat him as an honest person.
I am pretty confident RUSHMORE IS IN ON THE SCAM. The customer service calls you up to confirm you have understood what you have signed. All this while a salesman is in-front of you telling you that it's exactly what he said. Who do you believe? Obviously, I should have read the agreement I am signing. Fool me once, shame on me.
I quit the service as soon as I noticed that the price of it was incredibly high. The heard that I had signed an agreement that locked me into a 3-year deal. I remember asking the salesman if I could quit anytime with no repercussions, to which he said no, I couldn't quit the next month if I didn't like it, and there were no fines.
Unfortunately, I believed him. I'm letting you know to not do this.
I wish someone could file a class-action suit against them. Unfortunately, they've planned this really well. ”
